The relatively smooth ride took about 3 hours. We were comfortably seated in a classical old Merc. Although the driver looked old,he was quite a safe and seasoned driver (other than driving on the road divider from time to time). For a one way journey,we paid 65RM each.
Dor's parents were there to welcome us when we arrived slightly before 11. The 2 other cars arrived shortly after mistaking a mosque as a landmark. Aunty Chua even prepared red bean soup for us.

We left for Air Panas at 3 when the rest arrived. The place was still crowded as the previous instance. The weather was cloudy and it was not that humid. Eil shared the mosquito prevention lotion from Johnson and Johnson. Besides smelling relatively pleasant, it was very effective in keeping the mosquitoes away. The climb was faster than I expected. Ha.. Prob need to exercise more. Getting to the top was refreshing. The gushes of wind produced by the pure white falling waters were delightful.
By the time we descended, the sky was already turning dark. We went to an eating place near Dor's place. The bbq seafood were very fresh and we ate up the dishes heartily (good appetite from the climb).
The bright sunlight greeted us early in the morning. After church service, it was a series of eating and buying activities. We had a fulfilling lunch at a Chinese restaurant and shopped for biscuits and OTAH.
Left Muar at about 330 and we arrived after 3 hours. There was heavy downpour on our way back. To the extent that the visibility is reduced. Vehicles also had to hit the hazard lights. Really quite scary to drive in such scenarios. Phew that I wasn't the driver.
